Had lots of fun on this one, so huzzah for that. Played around a few different ways with the lighting. Not sure if I like the plain ground better or this version with light streaming in from all the different windows but I went with it.

At the end there I played around with the idea of Persephone for the background (around the window), how her presence changes the seasons of the earth - it comes alive when she's here for summer, then dies when she leaves to go to the underworld for winter. Hence the springy green on the left side (with the complete cityscape) and then fall's browns on the right with the decrepit and withered buildings.

Very nice use of color! Your choices go very well together. The green and brown halves and the blue and gray windows caught me attention. Nice mystic mists comes off the sword. Good work!

I love this, but I wish you took more time on the hair. It needs more highlights IMO.

Fabulous :)

I have a few suggestions:

Seeing as there's a strong light source from behind her, even though it'll hinder some detail deliciousness, I think you should add a bit more darkshadow at her front. The lighting is a little inconsistent since her shadow's on the ground but her body's in normal lighting.

I asked a wise man what convolution means, but his reply was rather convoluted itself, so I had to look it up...

I've been wrestling with reality all my life, and I'm proud to say, I think I finally won out over it. ^__^x

Sad part is I actually took a decent amount of time on the hair and the fur stole - just hadn't realized it would blend, blur, and mesh so much and lose the detail when sized down. Bah. I'll have to go back and fix that.

Thanks for the heads up and glad you like the rest ^_^
:iconflametwirler:
Why thank you kindly ^_^

Amazing Job! I love the lighting and shading that you did. I like the see through effect on the flowy fabric. The colors are great also, the aqua with the brown gives a wonderful effect. I like the brighter colors on the wonder side, and duller colors on the ruin side. *drools*
