I had a whole lot of fun playing around with this one. Went back and forth between loving it and wanting to tear my hair out but that's art, ne? haha. Anyhow I'm rather satisfied with the end product though I may tweak the lighting a bit more.

First off, good job on finishing this complicated piece and still retain your sanity XD I love the way you made the dragon's wings look realistic by shading it like that and the orange and blue zoom effect (I think?) worked really well :D It made the characters stan out and brighten up the whole picture, a very nice touch. Good luck with the contest ^^

Thanks. I'm odd in that I like having all the ridiculous little details because you then have to be creative in different ways, so though it completely killed my hand it was fun to play with.

The lighting in the background is actually just supposed to be the shine coming off the two different spirals of light, to emphasize the spark and clash I suppose. That was what was in my mind, anyway. ^_-
